The Summit Subang USJ, Your Friendly Neighbourhood Shopping with magazine held a Batik Sunday Fashion Concert on Sunday 11 December 2005. The Show started from 4.00 pm to 10.30 pm at the main entrance of the shopping mall. The programme is organised in conjunction with the Malaysian Batik Week launched by YAB Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on 2 December 2005.

The Malaysia Batik Week organised by Yayasan Budi Penyayang a non governmental bodies patronized by the late YABhg Datin Seri Paduka Endon Mahmood, who was also the person responsible in promoting the Malaysian Batik to the world.

Batik Sunday Sunday Fashion Concert featured local celebrities and models parading beautiful batik design by Kraftangan Malaysia. The programme started at 4.00 pm with Meet the Fan Session at The Cabana Club, The Summit Hotel Subang USJ. Among the celebrities present were Yazer, Natasha Hudson, Billy Zulkarnain, Reza, Akma Nabil and Hetty Sharlene.

At about 8.00 pm, the crowd started to come in, there were about 3,000 people standing at all three corners of the main entrance waiting for their favourite celebrities to appear. The crowd was entertained with performance by Nabil, Yazer, Billy Zulkarnain, Hetty Sharlene, Siti Sara and KRU. In between the performance, Kraftangan Malaysia presented the crowd with beautiful vibrant colours batik design paraded by professional models and celebrities.
