We are a group of companies listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia undertaking various activities in property development, shopping complex and hotel businesses. In line with our expansion, we are currently seeking dynamic and suitable qualified personnel for the following positions:-

Positions For Meda Inc. Bhd

1) Contracts, Senior Executive / executive (Selangor)

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation for pre contract cost estimates of the project
  • Assist in checking and preparetion of trnder quotation
  • Assist in preparation of Letter of Award
  • Check and prepare recommendation of contractors montly progress claims, vatiation prder and final accounts
  • Review and implement sound internal control system

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Certificate in Quantity Surveying/ Building or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract administration
  • Sound knowledge of measurement, bills preparation, preparing cost analysis, checking claims, variation orders and final accounts
  • Sound contractual knowledge and negotiation skills
  • Able to work under minimum supervision
  • Meticulous and analytical

2) Accountant (Selangor)

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of management and financial reports of a public listed group of companies
  • Review and consolidation of group accounts
  • Budgeting, cash flow management, taxation
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents and bankers
  • Review and implement sound internal control system

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting/ ACCA and registered with MIA
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity with auditing experience
  • Exposure in public listed company and/ or property development industry is essential
  • Possess sound accounting knowledge and familiar with financial reporting standards
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good leadership, analytical & problem solving skills



3 ) Accounts Executive (Selangor)

Responsibilities:

  • Handle full set of monthly management accounts on timely basis
  • Handle monthly reconciliation of bank, inter-company and creditors account balances
  • Handle weekly cash flow report generation and daily cash book maintenance
  • Prepare performance of trend and variance analysis and key financial ratios
  • Prepare cash flow planning/forecast for the next 6 months
  • Prepare Annual Budgeting
  • Prepare other financial reports/detailed accounts analysis on ad-hoc basis
  • Assist on banking, audit, tax and other accounting-related matters

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MACPA) or Degree in Accountancy/Finance
  • Minimum 3 years experience preferably in property development industry
  • Possess sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel application and accounting applications
  • Knowledge of banking, audit and taxation matters would be added advantages
  • Initiative, team player and able to work independently
  • Innovative, analytical and resourceful with excellent communication skills
  • Good command in both verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
