We are a group of companies listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia undertaking various activities in property development and hotel businesses. We are currently seeking dynamic and suitable qualified personnel for the following positions:-

Positions For Meda Inc. Bhd

1) CORPORATE FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of board and audit committee paper
  • Preparation of quarterly financial statement to board of directors
  • Liaison with Security Commission and advise the Management on SC requirements   
  • Review and implement sound internal control system

Requirement

  • Degree in Accounting/ ACCA/ CIMA and registered with MIA
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity with auditing experience
  • Exposure in public listed company and/ or property development industry is essential
  • Possess sound accounting knowledge and familiar with financial reporting standards
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Initiative, analytical and resourceful and able to work independently
     
  • 2) ACCOUNTANT 

    Responsibilities:

    • Preparation of consolidation of group accounts
    • Preparation of group cash flow forecast and budgeting
    • Assist in annual report compilation
    • Liaise with auditors, tax agents and bankers

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Accounting/ ACCA/ CIMA and registered with MIA
    • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity with auditing experience
    • Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply for Accountant post
    • Exposure in public listed company and/ or property development industry is essential
    • Possess sound accounting knowledge and familiar with financial reporting standards
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Initiative, analytical and resourceful and able to work independently

     

    3) ACCOUNTS, EXECUTIVE 

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare full set of monthly management accounts on timely basis
    • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation, inter-company and creditors account balances
    • Prepare weekly cash flow report and daily cash book maintenance
    • Prepare performance of trend, variance analysis and key financial ratios
    • Prepare other financial reports/detailed accounts analysis on ad-hoc basis
    • Assist in cash flow planning/forecast
    • Assist in annual budgeting
    • Assist in on banking, audit, tax and other accounting-related matters  

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Accounting/Professional qualification or finalist (ACCA/CIMA/MACPA)
    • Minimum 3 years experience in property development
    • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting applications
    • Knowledge of banking, audit and taxation matters is an advantage
    • Initiative, team player and able to work independently
    • Innovative, analytical and resourceful with excellent communication skills
    • Good command of written and spoken English

     

    4) ACCOUNTS, ASSISTANT

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain daily cash book and issue cheques
    • Prepare weekly cash flow report
    • Prepare correspondence letters and memos
    • Handle clerical works such as typing, filing and arrange courier
    • Assist in banking and other accounting-related matters
    • Provide assistance to the Executive in her daily duties 

    Requirements:

    • Minimum LCCI or partial Diploma in Accounting and Finance
    • At least 1 year of commercial experience
    • Experience in audit will be an added advantage
    • Team player, independent and able to work under minimum supervision
